2. How do I become a Alleson Athletic authorized dealer?
Contact the Alleson Athletic representative in your territory (call us at (585) 272-0606 to obtain the telephone number of your local representative, or go to the "Contact Us" section to email them).

3. How can I find an authorized Alleson Athletic dealer in my area?
The sales representative in your territory will be happy to direct you to the dealer in your area. You can find your salesman on the "Contact Us" page of our website.

4. How long does it take Alleson Athletic to ship an authorized dealer's order?
Alleson Athletic is an in-stock supplier, and therefore we try to maintain a complete inventory at all times. Our standard turnaround time is one to two days. The athletic business is seasonal, and we tend to stretch our lead times during the peak of baseball, football, and (definitely) basketball seasons.

5. Does Alleson Athletic sponsor any local teams or leagues within the United States?
No, Alleson Athletic has always relied on our outstanding dealer network to supply teams and leagues throughout the country. We never directly approach or supply a team. Because Alleson Athletic supplies teams across the country, we are unable to sponsor any teams or leagues on a local basis.

6. How can I find out about product specifications, garment construction, etc.?
Call our head of manufacturing, Steve Schwarz, at 585-272-0606 (extension 108), or his assistant Yvonne Dailey at extension 143. Or, you can email the manufacturing department through our Contact Us section.

7. Where are Alleson Athletic products manufactured, and where are they shipped from?
Alleson Athletic products are manufactured in two U.S. factories (in Geneva NY, and in Clayton GA.), and two factories in Mexico. We also manufacture some items in various countries throughout the world. We have three distribution centers throughout the U.S: one in Rochester, NY; one in Atlanta, GA; and one in Los Angeles, CA.

8. Do you have any policies on shipping accuracy and retail pricing?
Shipping Accuracy: Alleson Athletic will not be responsible for any items not checked for order accuracy or sizing before being sent to a printer/screener. We will not be responsible for shrinkage, defects, or damages caused during the imprinting of our garments by sources other than our own lettering department.
Retail pricing: Dealers are not to publish Alleson Athletic products below 25% off our suggested retail price as presented in our catalog. Failure to comply could result in account termination.

9. Is Alleson Athletic a union company?
Yes, our main headquarters and Geneva, NY factory are both members of the Unite Union (AFL-CIO).

10. Is Alleson Athletic an ASI member?
No, but we sell to ASI dealers based on their ability to qualify as an authorized Alleson Athletic dealer.

11. Where did the 'Alleson' name come from?
Our corporate name is Alleson of Rochester, d.b.a.. Alleson Athletic. Alleson of Rochester was founded by Abe Levine and his son William in 1933. "Alleson" is the abbreviated form of "Abe Levine and son". In the late 1960s our founder's son, Donald, passed away from cancer. In honor of Donald, the name of our athletic apparel company was changed to Don Alleson Athletic. Since then we have condensed that name by removing the “Don.” However, Don Alleson Athletic will always be a strong part of our heritage.
